Why would he mention them? Even if the point was to debunk 9/11 conspiracy theories (it's not), neither of the two that you mentioned are experts in their field. John Lear is just some random pilot who happens to have a noteworthy name, and Judy Wood is a mediocre academic who wrote a crackpot paper about nonexistent space lasers turning the towers into dust which is ridiculous and obviously a fantasy.

If that were true, there would be evidence of their studies outside of youtube. Real professionals and scientists don't just publish their views and studies in a short youtube videos.

So when the mostly aluminum planes crashed with the other pieces of steel of the building, it would normally make the buildings stronger. Not bring them down. @@mikero6225 The point I was making is that this idea of those Saudis being involved in 9/11 and then leaving the US in supposedly suspicious circumstances should make people ask why they would be hanging around in the US if they knew it was going to happen. If the were involved and it could be connected to them then why wouldn't they make sure they were safely out of the country when it happened?

You think roughly 5 months is "so quickly"? How much longer should the steel have sat there? A year? 5 years? All of the steel was looked over before being recycled, with some pieces used in further forensic and metallurgical analyses and some set aside for memorials. To suggest it was just hauled directly from the pile to China is disingenuous.

It took about 9 months to clear "the Pile". Everything that was collected was sent to Staten Island to be gone over. Things that were determined to not have any value as evidence was then passed on to reclaimers yards in NY and NJ. Nothing was "shipped out", and nothing was sent to "smelters".

I dont see the relevance. The speaker chose 9/11 as an example conspiracy theory in his lecture on how to approach and dissect conspiracy theories with critical thinking. Most student would not be able to relate to any of the items you listed.
